For buyers
State the route once. Keep your budget to yourself.
For carriers, cloud and content providers, ISPs and enterprises. Post one request with the route, capacity, term and date you need, and let Fathom find the sellers who can deliver it.
Why buy here
One requirement, many possible sellers, no leaks.
Your maximum stays private
Sellers never see your maximum rate. A proposal’s rate never exceeds it, and in a reverse auction it acts as a hidden ceiling that bids cannot probe.
Sellers compete for your request
For larger or contested requirements, Fathom can run a reverse auction: eligible sellers bid down to fill your request, in an open or sealed format.
Flexible on routing
Ask for exact landing stations, or accept any station in the same country or region. Fathom scores route fit, so the closest match wins when price is equal.
Plans don’t leak
A request for 400G into a new market says a lot about your roadmap. On Fathom, only you and the operator can see it; sellers only see a buyer alias on a specific proposal.
No commission for buyers
Fathom’s fee is paid by the seller. You pay the deal price: the NRC and MRC shown on the proposal.

The buyer’s path
What happens after you post.
Your request enters the sealed book
Visible only to you and Fathom. Edit it or close it whenever you like, outside a live auction.
Fathom proposes a match, or runs a reverse auction
A proposal shows firm terms from an anonymous seller. In a reverse auction on your request, you can follow the best rate and bid count as sellers compete. You may also be invited to bid on a seller’s offer in a forward auction.
You accept or decline
Proposals carry an expiry, typically 72 hours. Nothing binds you until you accept, or until you win an auction you chose to bid in.
You pay the initial invoice
The NRC plus the first month’s MRC through Stripe checkout. Fathom never sees or stores your card details.
You learn who is selling
The deal goes active and you see the seller’s name, company and country, and move on to contract and provisioning.
