For sellers

Place capacity without publishing your price.

For cable owners, consortium members and carriers holding IRUs or spectrum. List what you have, set a floor nobody else can see, and let Fathom bring you buyers whose requirements actually fit.

Why sell here

Reach demand without signalling to the market.

  • Your rate stays yours

A rate you send out in a quote tends to travel. On Fathom your ask and reserve are visible only to you and the operator. Buyers see a proposed rate on a specific deal, never your floor.

  • Qualified demand only

You receive proposals only for requests that already fit your route, product, contract type, term, timing and protection — not tyre-kicking RFQs.

  • Competition when it helps

For scarce routes or large blocks, Fathom can run a forward auction on your offer: invited buyers bid up, above a reserve they cannot see.

  • Stranded capacity, quietly

Unsold wavelengths or spectrum on a system you’d rather not discount in public can be offered to the right buyers without a price war on the open market.

  • Paid only on a deal

3% of TCV, charged on completed deals. Every proposal shows you the fee and your net proceeds before you accept.

What you list

An offer, in your own terms.

Listing takes a few minutes. You can keep an offer as a draft, edit it while no deal consumes it, or withdraw it at any time outside a live auction.

The seller’s path

What happens after you list.

  1. Your offer enters the sealed book

Only you and Fathom can see it. It shows in your dashboard with its status and available units.

  2. Fathom proposes a match, or invites you to an auction

A proposal names the buyer only by alias and gives firm terms. A forward auction on your offer runs to a scheduled close; you watch the best bid and bid count live. You may also be invited to bid in a reverse auction for a buyer’s request your offer can fill.

  3. You accept or decline

Nothing binds you until you accept a proposal. In a forward auction on your offer, the award creates the deal at the clearing rate — never below your reserve.

  4. The buyer pays the initial invoice

NRC plus the first month’s MRC, through Stripe. Units are held for the deal and released if it is cancelled before payment.

  5. You learn who bought

The deal goes active and you see the buyer’s name, company and country, ready for the IRU or lease agreement and provisioning.
